Run For World Peace

Announcements — Tony Entwisle @ 10:21 am

We have just received notice that New Horizons Montessori School has been chosen to host runners in the 23rd Annual Global Harmony Run.  Schools around the world will be welcoming runners as they travel through 100 countries to promote international peace and harmony.

On Monday, April 19, 2010, U.S. runners will arrive at New Horizons carrying a flaming torch, that will be passed hand to hand by runners in every country to symbolize harmony.  NHMS children will greet Harmony  team members at the peace garden and bring them in for refreshments.  During their time together children and runners will share hopes and dreams for world harmony.  Runners will speak with the children about their message “Harmony Begins with Me”.
