Dawn Fastiggi to Present at AMS Conference
We are proud to have our own artist-in-residence, Dawn Fastiggi, presenting at the American Montessori Society Annual Conference in Boston this weekend. One hundred and eighty six Montessori teachers from throughout the US have signed up to hear Ms. Fastiggi’s ideas for bringing art into the Elementary classroom, in Examining the World Through Art.
Ms. Fastiggi’s program description from the AMS Conference catalog:
“Art experiences are a major Practical Life activity in the elementary environment. In this engaging session, discover how to open your students’ eyes to the art around and within them with a cornucopia of hands-on, classroom art projects.
